TVI's mission is to identify, help create and support the development of new therapeutic drug discovery opportunities worldwide. We do this by investing in pharmaceutical technology and product concepts, and highly effective management teams that can turn ideas into reality. As a strategic investor, our primary focus is on medium to longer term returns in the form of product and technology successes for our portfolio companies and capital gains for the institutions we work with. While we will make minority investments and assume a passive role in management, we also strive to forge active, collaborative partnerships to create synergies with Takeda's considerable R&D resources.

TVI is based in Palo Alto, California and is actively seeking global investment opportunities. Our goal is to build a portfolio of strategic investments, with an immediate emphasis on cardiovascular, central nervous system, inflammation, metabolic and oncology therapeutic domains. TVI does not currently invest in diagnostics platforms, medical technology and devices or anti-infective products.
